Thanks for finding our site! All of the hand turned pens and bottle openers here (and at our shows) were created by Linda and I during weekends and evenings in our shop out back. We live in Clearwater Florida and we have been woodworking hobbyists since the mid 1980s. We began creating our pens in 2002 and quickly, they became very popular, so created Wood U Write as a way to offer them to the public. Our stunning and unique bottle stoppers were made available to the public in 2008 and recently we've expanded to include wooden bowls. These are becoming very popular as well. It's a labor of love really. Beginning with reclaimed or responsibly harvested wood, each piece is hand turned and a one-of-a-kind item. Some of our most astonishing pens have been crafted from trees from our own region, including pens made of Camphor and Bottlebrush. Once turned, then finished with high quality metal hardware, your unique pen or bottle stopper will provide years of use and pleasure. Linda and I attend many art shows and festivals through out the Tampa Bay Florida region. We are members of the American Woodworkers Association and The Suncoast Woodturners Club.
